Join us as we explore Mt. Hood in Oregon this winter! Experience the magic of this season through a variety of activies we have planned including snowshoeing, snow tubing, and ski-touring in the pristine snow-covered forests with views of stunning peaks in Oregon’s Cascade Range. We'll be staying in a beautiful cozy cabin in the iconic Mt. Hood Village. Our evenings will be spent warming up around the campfire and reflecting, roasting marshmellows, and connecting with each other inshaAllah. 

Trip Itinerary highlights include Snoeshowing and Hiking at Tamanawas Falls, Snow Tubing, and an optional opportunity for a beginner friendly 2-hour Cross Country Ski Tour (available with upgrade). This is a beginner level trip: the activities and hikes planned are slightly challenging but can be done by those with limited outdoor experience.

Important Information (please read before booking):

- Transportation to the trip location is not covered by Ma'wa Collective. It is the responsibility of participants to do their due diligence to check on travel logistics before signing up for the trip, including checking flight availability and pricing if you are not local to the area.

- Carpools: While Ma’wa Collective will assist with arranging carpools among participants, we cannot guarantee that every Trip will have local participants that are able to volunteer their personal cars and offer a carpool. In some cases, a rental car may be the only option for carpooling, and the cost of the rental car is not covered by Ma’wa Collective. All participants are expected to split the cost of gas for the duration of the Trip, regardless of whether your carpool is a rental car or someone’s personal vehicle.

- If you will be flying in for this trip, we recommend flying into Portland International Airport: arrival must be no later than 2pm on Friday, January 10th, and departure no earlier than 1 pm on Monday, January 13th. 

- All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
