The September Chamonix trip was truly magical. The views and sisterhood were unforgettable. The hikes were challenging but rewarding.

This was my third trip with Maawa. Alhamdulillah it was a well organized trip full of adventures, great people, food and lots of sightseeing. This is my first international trip with Maawa and it exceeded my expectations. Our local female guide was awesome! She introduced us to so many cultural aspects while showing us around some of the most beautiful places in Iceland. I also met some of the most amazing, kind and smart woman on this trip and have connected with them after as well. I can't wait to go back and explore more of this beautiful country.

We had an amazing time on our Iceland trip! The scenery was breathtaking, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the trip. We met wonderful people, shared lots of great moments, and made memories we’ll never forget. Highly recommend Ma’wa for anyone wanting to explore Iceland with a friendly muslim women group!

This was my first Ma’wa trip and it was an awesome experience alhamdulillah. I’d been following the org for a while and Iceland has been on my travel list, so when the opportunity came to combine the two I jumped on it and am glad I did! Through the trip, I got to meet and connect with amazing women from different parts of the U.S. and Canada. Our driver and tour guide Johanna is such a kind and inspiring person, and it was great to learn about the country and culture from a local. Iceland’s scenic beauty is surreal and we got our fill of gorgeous waterfalls alhamdulillah. As someone who’s the usual planner in my family, it was nice being able to just show up and sit back and enjoy all of the experiences. Overall, I highly recommend this trip to anyone who’s considering it!
